Graduation marks one-year anniversary for RAIN Eugene
One year ago last May, the Regional Accelerator and Innovation Network (RAIN) launched in Eugene, Oregon and opened its doors to its first class of startup companies a few months later.
This week, the second class of RAIN Eugene startup companies will graduate, marking the one-year anniversary of RAIN activities in the Eugene-Springfield area.
The Eugene entrepreneurial community has been building momentum over the last year through the establishment of new programs, events, and opportunities for local founders.
Join us for an opportunity to meet some of the community’s newest members: the graduating founders of the RAIN Eugene Accelerator’s second cohort of startup companies.
For the founders, who have spent the last twelve weeks working with mentors, testing their business plans, and developing their strategic plans, the pitch event represents an opportunity to present their ideas to the entrepreneurial community in the Eugene-Springfield area.
The founders will pitch their ideas to the community on Wednesday, May 6 starting at 5 p.m. at the Oregon Contemporary Theater in downtown Eugene.
The companies pitching will include Bloxi, Cognitopia, Dyscover.Me, eFormatter, NemaMetrix, PACTS Consulting, and VoteOverIt.com.
By the end of its first year of operation, RAIN Eugene will graduate 16 startup companies from its accelerator program and will have assisted over twenty others through introductions, advising, and mentorship.
The community is invited to attend the free pitch event and graduation on Wednesday, May 6 at 5:00 p.m. at the Oregon Contemporary Theater. Come hear the company pitches, network, and develop connection with our growing startup community as we celebrate the one-year anniversary of RAIN Eugene.
